I'ld like to apologise for my reply on Ma Sandar's chain email request for donations needed for her cancer treatment in Singapore. I can offer reasons for my email to be misinterpreted as sounding judgmental & insensitive. Such as the command of my English and how I have never been good at expressing myself with words. But I realise that no amount of excuses nor reasons can compensate for the amount of grief, hurt and anger I have cause the people that are involve in this act of goodwill and charity. For that alone, I am sorry.
I apologise for being judgmental and for comparing Ma Sandar's life with other's, because all lives are precious. I did not mean to discourage or advice people against donating to Ma Sandar.
Again I apologise to all the good people that is involve in this act of charity and hoping the forgiveness from God.

Let me ask you a question...how would you feel if you have what she is having now? how would you feel if your beloved one have what she is having right now. She is a student of NUS who is specializing in Knowledge Engineering for a Masters Degree.. how long let me tell you this (one and a half year!). Another question, how would you feel if you take an x-ray and your see that your back bone is gone...... your fucking back bone is not in the x-ray.... how would you feel that. Every time she eats something she can't digest anymore..... do you think you can live in that kind of life....
According to your mail, yes there are a lot of places in this world to make donations.... but one more question, if you can't respect and donate to the incident which is happening in front of you, do you care or even consider to donate which is so faraway from you? The answer is, I don't think so.

Dear Ko Tun Latt,
I am sure there are many people in this world who could use our generous donations. But the real question is are we doing anything to improve their situation or not. As far as I know, we are so wrapped up in our own world that we just ignore other things. Sometimes, we don't even know how lucky we are. The point is most people know there are poverty, hunger, etc in this world but how many people are trying to change that?? We are living our own life as per normal and we are not losing our sleep over world poverty. Rite? But then, there are times when you see some cases like this one, I believe it is tough to ignore. As for this case, a young lady who is full of life and has a bright future suddenly fell ill and diagnosed with terminal cancer. She is going to finish her Master next year. She is asking out for help from her friends and I see this is an opportunity where we can make a difference.
Besides, she is not forcing anyone to donate for her. Donation is an act of kindness that we show to another person. If you think this is STUPID, all you have to do is ignore it. No one, I mean no one is asking you to donate for her. I accept that everyone has his/her own opinion and I respect that. But, I believe you have no RIGHT to ask whether she is worth saving or not. Every human life is worth saving. If we are not going to save one life, I think you can say goodbye to the ideas of saving millions of lives.
Mother Teresa famously once said that "What we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But if that drop was not in the ocean, I think the ocean would be less because of that missing drop. I do not agree with the big way of doing things." Reflect on it.

There are so many people who need help more than her. People are dying daily in so many poor ways. And the other people are also waiting for the day they have to die. So, Please concern more on those people rather than wrong / stupid donations. By the way, as we all know administrators at 'Mae Daw Hospital' which is located in Thai Burma border can only cover 60% of their hospital expenses daily. This kind of places are a lot in Burma and all over the world as well. So. . . Please be considerate. Do not do not favour stupid donation. There are alot of people who need more than that.

This is the latest condition of Sandar.
(1) Cancer cells are spread already to liver and anus.
(2) Back Bone operation was not completely removed all tumors.
(3) So, now Doctors decided to cure by two ways_ radiotherapy and kimo therapy.
(4) For Radiotherapy, the estimated cost is S$7000.
(5) For kimo therapy, there are two options.
First option is , one singapore cancer research team ask sandar to test her cancer cells for their experiment .
If that meets their experiments, they will sponsor for kimo therapy.
If not, sandar will do that by herself.
(6)For implant of back bone, it costs over S$15000.All other charges for hospital fees , operation fees and consultation fees are S$ 38000 till now.( We got medical insurance S$30000)

ဆာေလာင္ငတ္မြတ္ေနတဲ့ ကေလးငယ္တစ္ဦး FAO ရဲ႕ အကူအညီနဲ႔ ေဆးသြင္းေနခဲ့တယ္။ ဆာေလာင္လြန္းတဲ့အတြက္ ဘာအင္အားမွ သူ႔ဆီမွမရွိေတာ့ဘူး။ အားအင္ေတြကုန္ခမ္းၿပီး ဘာအစာမွလဲ မစားႏိုင္ခဲ့ဘူး။ ေသးငယ္တဲ့ အသက္တစ္ေခ်ာင္းကို ကယ္တင္ဖို႔ ဆရာဝန္ေတြက ႏွာေခါင္းကတစ္ဆင့္ ေဆးေတြသြင္းေပးေနခဲ့တယ္။
၁၉၉၆ ခုႏွစ္ ႏိုဝင္ဘာ ၅ရက္ေန႔ Democratic Republic of the Congo , Bukavu မွာ Tutsi လူမ်ဳိးနဲ႔ Zaïre တို႔ရဲ႕ စစ္ပဲြေၾကာင္း ထြက္ေျပးခဲ့ရတဲ့ မိသားတစ္စု အနိ႒ာရံုျမင္ကြင္းကို မျမင္ေစခ်င္တဲ့အစ္ကိုက ညီငယ္ရဲ႕ မ်က္ႏွာကို လက္နဲ႔အုပ္ထားခဲ့တယ္။ပိုင္ဆိုင္တာကို မွ်ေဝပါ... သခၤါရတရားဆိုတာ ဘယ္ေတာ့မွ မၿမဲပါဘူး....

Dear All friends,
On behalf of Sandar, thank you so much for all of your contribution.
This is the latest condition of Sandar.
(1) Cancer cells are spread already to liver and anus.
(2) Back Bone operation was not completely removed all tumors.
(3) So, now Doctors decided to cure by two ways_ radiotherapy and kimo therapy.
(4) For Radiotherapy, the estimated cost is S$7000.
(5) For kimo therapy, there are two options.
First option is , one singapore cancer research team ask sandar to test her cancer cells for their experiment .
If that meets their experiments, they will sponsor for kimo therapy.
If not, sandar will do that by herself.
(6)For implant of back bone, it costs over S$15000.All other charges for hospital fees , operation fees and consultation fees are S$ 38000 till now.( We got medical insurance S$30000)
